Jamaica Primary Language Arts covers all the Language Arts strands under the National Standards Curriculum and assists students in interacting with methodologies and content not only in Language Arts but also in other disciplines across the NSC.
The Four Cs of communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity take centre stage in these appealing and engaging books. Jolly Phonics Activity Books are full-color, write-in workbooks filled with multisensory activities to guide young children through the early stages of reading and writing.
Children are introduced to the Jolly Phonic characters Inky Mouse, Snake and Bee and join them in discovering letter sounds through stories, actions and activities. Each letter sound is reinforced with stickers to use, pages to color, games and crafts to try and writing practice throughout as children begin to read and write simple words.
Later books in the series introduce capital letters and tricky words.
