Jeanette Ottley is the co-author of Longman's successful The Caribbean and Beyond for lower secondary. Her qualifications include B. Sc (Geography and Add. Geography), M. A. (Ed) and Dip Ed (dist). She is currently Head of Geography Department at Queen's College, Barbados and has many years experience of successfully preparing students for CSEC and CAPE exams. Jeanette has been involved with CXC Geography since it began more than 25 years ago and is an examiner for CSEC and CAPE levels in the subject
Marolyn Gentles is a graduate of the Mico Teachers' College and University of the West Indies who has had 15 years of teaching experience, eight of which teaching CXC CSEC and Cambridge A-Level Geography , and some in the UK. Her passion for Geography and environmental conservation has taken her into a wider field where she is currently the Education and Outreach Officer for the Blue and John Crow Mountains National Park in Jamaica. Marolyn has been involved in Environmental Education at various levels for the past 5 years.
